Counselor's Corner
Happy 2010!
This month's character trait is Responsibility.
Kindergarten, First and Second Grade classes have been discussing responsibility and the different responsibilities that they have at home and at school. We are doing activities, reading stories and playing games that ask questions and explore more about students' responsibilities.
Third grade is watching a movie about health and how they are responsible for their physical activity and the way they take care of themselves. We will play games, do activities, write and draw about the different ways responsibility plays a role in our lives.
Fourth and fifth grade are watching a movie and doing Guess the Covered Word activities about Responsibility. We will discuss their growing responsibilities and how they impact their school work, their home and the things that they enjoy doing.
