 With Spring Break just around the corner, we'll soon be entering the last quater of the year. Wow, time has really flown!

Our reading now is focusing on a family theme.  We'll enjoy reading about different types of families. We also read silently on a daily basis to reach our second grade reading goal for the school.

In Math we have been learning about fractions, and will be working more with 3 digit numbers.  We will review and reinforce many skills in 4th quarter.  We work continually on solving problems that require higher level thinking skills.

Fit For Motion works with our students weekly to encourage better eating habits and good daily exercise.  Thanks for helping your child remember to wear their FFM shirt each Friday! Our final FFM session begins at school on April 15. We will have a FFM Family Night at the South Rowan YMCA on April 29.  We will join the 2nd grades from Millbridge in some fun fitness activities.  Plan to come and enjoy a great time.
