Language Arts
We have sent home information about our November/December book report. Please help your child choose a book that challenges, without discouraging him/her!
In spelling we will look at words that have the long”a” sound. This month we will be reading about neighborhoods and communities. The children write daily in their journals.
Please have your child hand in their reading chart on Monday; it’s great to already be able to see their improvement!
· Please send in a healthy snack for your child each day if he or she has me for Language Arts!

Math
We are finishing the chapter on patterns, and will be beginning geometry. The children are still encouraged to practice their addition and subtraction math facts.
Religion
We will continue our discussion of the church year.
Social Studies
We will continue to discuss the pilgrims and Native Americans.
