 Projected Plans for February 2010

February 1 -5:  Big Six

Research Project in the Media Center.

Students selected an environmental problem to research and provide a possible solution.  The end product is a poster (14 x 24) or brochure.  A parent information sheet about the project was sent home on 1/28/2010.

February 8 - 11

Computer time will be provided for students to work on the environmental project.  Students done early will have an enrichment opportunity using the Promethean board software program to develop a presentation about "Forces Shaping Earth."  They will work in small groups for this activity.  An additional grade will be given for this advanced assignment.

February 15 - 19

10 Station Rotation Lab

Students will travel through various activities in small groups.

February 22 - 26
