Dragons Math

Dear 6th grade Parents and Students,

    I want to take this opportunity to invite all parents to the first Student Led Conferences for the Dragons Team on Wednesday October 22nd from 3-5, there was a letter sent home in your child's agenda on Friday (October 16) about this event.  I also want to let everyone know what a great job our students did last Wednesday on their first field trip to the festival, despite the rain and bad weather they performed excellent.  By keeping the lines of communication open and clear we will ensure that this happens.   If we want all of our students to achieve and do their best, we must all work together.  I look forward to working with all of you this year.  Please don't hesitate to come by and see me if you have a question or concern.

      Make sure to review and sign the agenda each night.  If you don't see homework completed, please don't sign the agenda.

    Students, remember to be completing your Keeping Skills Sharp activity, it is due every Wednesday.  We will be working on decimals for the rest of the quarter.

    We are working on getting the Study Island internet-based tutoring program up and running.  I have assignments on my Study Island site right now.  There is a direct link to the site at the bottom of this page.  students can log in using their first name followed by a hyphen, then their last name followed by a period and sems.  Their password is whatever they set up last year.
