The following days are designated as MAKE-UP days and are now considered REGULAR SCHOOL DAYS Monday, February 15 Thursday, April 8 Friday, April 9 Tuesday, May 4 Should your child be absent any of those days, they will need an absent note - again, these dates are being treated as REGULAR INSTRUCTIONAL DAYS. Keep in mind, phone calls will not be returned until after 2:45. Thanks! Anna Moseley :) Tips and reminders: * If your child needs to eat breakfast, he/she needs go straight to the cafeteria before coming to the classroom.Lunchtime is at 12:13 That is a LONG time for 3rd graders to go without eating. Please be sure your child eats a nutritious breakfast daily. * When sending lunch money to school, place it in an envelope labeled with your child's name and PIN number. Breakfast costs: $1.00 Lunch costs: $1.85 * Transportation changes must be in writing. For the safety of the children, whenever your child needs to change his/her way home, please send a note. *Agendas must be returned to school daily. The children will have homework most evenings and assignments are written in the agenda. Your job is to sign your child's agenda nightly AFTER checking to be certain that ALL assignments have been completed. Thanks for all of your help! Schedule Our specials begin at 8:00. Please be sure your child is on time for school so he/she does not miss instruction from these specialists. Specials: Monday: Music w/ Mrs. Gunther Tuesday: Art w/ Mrs. Nance Wednesday: Guidance w/ Mrs. Ward on "A" weeks Thursday: NONE Friday: PE w/ Mr. Faulkenbury Media and Computer Lab have become "flex scheduled." This means is that we do not have a set day and time for these specials. It is instructional driven based on topics being studied. HOWEVER, be sure your child brings his/her library books to school daily. The children will several opportunities during the week to exchange library books.
