Tips and reminders:
* If your child needs to eat breakfast, he/she needs go straight to the cafeteria before coming to the classroom.
Lunchtime is at 11:28
Please be sure your child eats a nutritious breakfast daily.

* When sending lunch money to school, place it in an envelope labeled with your child's name and PIN number.
Breakfast costs: $1.00
Lunch costs: $1.85

You may make an on-line payment to pay for your child's school meals.  Check out rss.k12.nc.us under lunch menus for more information.

* Transportation changes must be in writing. For the safety of the children, whenever your child needs to change his/her way home, please send a note.

*Agendas must be returned to school daily.  
The children will have homework most evenings and assignments are written in the agenda.

Your job is to sign your child's agenda nightly AFTER checking to be certain that ALL assignments have been completed.

Direct Instruction begins at 7:55.  Please be sure your child is on time for school so he/she does not miss this targeted reading instruction.

Wednesday:  PE with Mrs. Mitchem
Thursday:  Guidance with Mrs. Ward
Friday:  Computer Lab

Media and Computer Lab have become "flex scheduled." This means is that we do not have a set day and time for these specials.  It is instructional driven based on topics being studied.

HOWEVER, be sure your child brings his/her library books to school daily.  The children will have an opportunity on Monday to exchange library books
