At any time during the school year, I can be reached at 757-2160 or clarkg.cme@pitt.k12.nc.us.  Please feel free to get in touch with me anytime.

I will be offering after school tutoring.  I'm not sure of which day or days I will be tutoring, so I will be setting up my tutoring sessions after school begins.

Pre-Algebra

We are studing divisiblity rules, prime and composite numbers, exponents, and square roots.

Next we will move on to exponent rules.  Students will need to study nightly to make sure they understand the rules.

Math

We are studing divisibility rules, prime and composite numbers, exponents and square roots.

Next, we will be going to Decimals.

*** STUDENTS HAVE HOMEWORK EVERY NIGHT.  PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY ARE COMPLETING IT.
The following things students need to bring to class each day:

1. Bring textbook, workbooks, pencils, folders, and paper everyday.

2. Be on time to class.

3. Have pencils and homework out when class starts.

The following things parents need to be aware of:

1. Students will have homework nightly and sometimes on week-ends. If your child misses 2 homework assignments in a row, I will be contacting you.

2. Projects will be assigned throughout the year.

3. Students will not begin using calculators until the middle of the 2nd nine weeks. Please do not allow them to use calculators until we begin using them in class.

4. Your child will be using a TI-83 plus Calculator in my classroom. The calculator your child uses at home does not have to be a TI-83 plus.

5. My grading is as follows:

15% homework

5% weekly warm ups

30% classwork

50% Tests
