Week of Nov. 2-6, 2009Don't forget about Student-Led Conferences this Thursday!! Your child will be conferencing with you about everything they've learned so far and what their goals are for next quarter.
Math: We are learning algegbra! Ask your child what a variable and an algebraic expression are!Science: What is sound? We will be learning new vocabulary and how sound moves and how we hear.Social Studies: Native Floridians: local tribes, we will be getting our project assignments this week. They will not be due until Dec, so have fun with them!Reading: We are learning about inference and story plots. Also, the origins of words!Practice your math facts every night!30 points of spelling homework is due for those students who didn't pass the pre-test. It is due Friday. Spelling and reading test is on Friday, also. |
