Mrs. Carroll's Best 4th

Grade Class Ever!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Just a few reminders

Please initial your child's calendar in their homework folder each night.

Send students to school with appropriate outer clothing.  I do take the students outside each day.  They will not be permitted to go out with the class if they do not have a coat.

It is essential that your child is reading everyday.

Encourage your child to complete homework daily.

Please keep toys and expensive electronic equipment at home.  We do not want them to disappear.  If your child must bring a cell phone for personal reasons please encourage them to have it on silent during class.  Ask them not to tell anyone they have it.

We are starting a new story this week, Boss of the Plains.  During this story we will be focusing on summarizing, making generalizations and suffixes.  Our focus during small groups will be on writing and reading comprehension.
