Week 6:  October 12 - 18


Read Chapter 1 section 1  (Describing and Measuring Motion) of the Motion, Forces, Energy textbook. 
Do the guided reading worksheet for this section. Copies will be handed out in class on Tues.   Due Friday

For future reference I will use shorthand for referring to sections of the book. For example Chapter 1 section 1 will be called 1.1.


Week 5:  October 5 - 11

Sun Earth Moon Final Test on Monday 10/12
Covers all material from this unit. Slit up the chapters and study a little each night. We will have a day of review in class. Make note of anything you don't understand as you study and ask at the beginning of class the next day.

No written homework this week so you can study for the final test on SEM.

We will cover part 10 in class so don't do it at home.

In preparation for the Car Project, start collecting pictures of cars, trucks or other vehicles that you like. We will discuss this in class this week.

Find stiff cardboard approximately 12 x 12 inches. Put your name and period on it and bring it in. You can bring it before the due date. Corrugated cardboard works well. You can cut a piece from a cardboard box.  If you have extra, you can give a piece to a friend or donate it to the class . . . due Tues. 8/15
