          Fantasy Book Share  Due November 12

Create a Game

You will create a board game for the story you read.  The theme of the game should reflect the fantasy theme.  Use events in the book to help create the game (finding something magical, escaping from a wizard or dragon, a quest, an adventurous journey, etc.)  The board should reflect the setting of the story.  The playing pieces should relate to the characters in the story.  (I will help with supplies if needed) Don’t forget the directions!

You will be asked to do an oral presentation about your book.  For your oral presentation, you will need to prepare an index card that includes:

*         Name of the book

*         Author of the book

*         Important characters and descriptions

*         Setting of where the story took place

*         Main events that happen in the story

*         Some examples of events in the story that show why it is a fantasy

*         Your favorite part in the book

You will present your board game to the class during your presentation.
