Social Studies

We are still focusing on the continent of Europe, which we be studying until the end of this 9 weeks.

This week we will be studying Western Europe: Its Land and History in Chapter 10.

I am proud of all of the progress I have observed on the Europe project. Please remember that these are due next week on the 9th.

Science

We will complete Chapter 4 - Earthquakes this week.

Please look for an "Earthquake Project" sheet that will be sent home with your student on Monday. This is a project that must be completed at home, by the student. Yes, you can help, but please let the student do a majority of the work.

Work on typing your fable into a Word document; email to me or bring on a memory stick.  Continue working on your illustrations in class and during homeroom!  Bring in your purchase order form/envelope whether or not you plan to buy additonal copies of your fable book.

Today-November 13th

We are continuing to work on our fables. We will do most of the writing, typing, and illustrating in class, but if they do not use their time wisely it will become homework. Here is the timeline for the next three weeks.

Rough Draft due Tuesday Nov. 3

Final Draft typed by Monday Nov. 9

Illustrations finished turn in book by Friday Nov. 13
