We will begin with the geography of this continent/country and move into a study of the people that live there. SCIENCE We are wrapping up our study of Chapter 13 - Weather. The students will bring home a study guide for the exam which we will take on Thursday. Our next lesson will take us into outer space. Please remind your student that we will have a Weekly Warm Up quiz each week on Friday. CW/HW: pg. 542, vocab.(1) and pg. 544, #1-3, #11-13, #5,8,10,15,18,20; 3.) get BM3 grade signed (corrections returned today with grade on them); 3rd nine weeks grades are final on the Parent Portal. S.S.: 1.) (all classes) WU #1 (assignment #1 in new notebook); 2.) CW/HW: Maya, Aztec, or Inca? (w/s - assignment #2 in notebook); 3.) Language Arts Classes We are beginning the actual research projects Monday. We will be spending 2 days in the library and then will do more research in our room. Students should have 25 or more facts by the end of the week. If they use their time wisely this should be easy. No spelling contracts until after we are finished with the research Homework: Missing work from last week's inclass project. Several are missing the outline, rough draft, or bibliography. Check parent portal.
