Parents/Guardians,

We are now about to begin the Second Quarter Grading Period. During this time we will begin the unit on AUTHOR STUDY, which will include Literature Circles, and Informational Text.

The first two weeks will include the Literature Circles.

The remainder of the quarter will include Informational Text.

Grammar context will be NOUNS.

 I have noticed there are students who are still having difficulty organizing the things they need for class. Please make sure they bring only the things requested on the supply list. Some are bringing in unnecessary items.


Please check your child's agenda book each day in order to monitor their homework assignments, teacher notes, and WORK HABITS and SOCIAL SKILLS grades.



Please make sure your child reads each night at home for 30 minutes.
