Dear 7^th Grade Parents,

Chapter 4 test resulted in a class average of 85%.  Those who had some trouble will be offered the opportunity to get extra credit by correcting the test and retaking it. Students should be bringing home the test on Monday for you to sign. As always, please make sure they have corrected all wrong answers before they return it.

The study of factors and fractions lays the foundation for algebraic operations. In Chapter 5 we will convert fractions to decimals and percents. Students will learn how to manipulate fractions and decimals using multiplication, division, addition and subtraction, just like we did with integers.
