Homework reminder:
Monday:
Write an original story using all of the vocabulary words for the week.
Tuesday:
Draw a picture that represents each of the vocabulary words.
Wednesday:
Cite 5 vocabulary words found in books, magazines, internet sources, journals, etc. Use your quick reference guide or citationmachine.net to cite the source. (You may not use an on-line dictionary)
Thursday:
Write the vocabulary words, parts of speech, and definition 5 times each.

Extra Credit:
5 bonus points on vocabulary test if you show me your vocabulary notecards on Friday!!

Writer's Notebook:
You are required to produce a minimum of 5 pages of writing each week from topics found in your "What should I write about" section of your notebook. I will check these each Monday. A full page begins at the top left margin, continues to the edge of the page and ends at the bottom of the page.

Discussion Board:
Each week, you will be required to respond to a discussion topic on turnitin.com and reply to two classmates responses.

Tutoring
I am available after school each day for tutoring/academic detention. This is held from 2:45-3:15 each day, excluding Mondays due to faculty meetings.
