Welcome to the 2nd Quarter of the 2008-09 school year at Skyline Elementary.

Our next unit this year will be about Abraham Lincoln.

Our main goals for this unit will be:

1. To learn about Abraham Lincoln’s childhood.
2. To learn and understand Abraham Lincoln’s political career.
3. To understand how our country was changed by the life of Abraham Lincoln.

In class your child was given a sheet of project choices. It is now their responsibility to choose a project topic, research the project topic and create a visual aid. They will then present it on the due date. Information and details are attached. I look forward to seeing their work on the due date.
