Dear Parents,

"Snowman" Character Book Report

Due: Friday, January 14, 2011 (No projects will be accepted after this date.)

Please check you child's folder for directions for the character book report...

Each child will read a story and complete a book report. They will be creating a "snowman" decorated to represent the main character in the story.

Each snowman character should consist of 3 circles. They should be about the size of a paper plate.

The front of the snowman character must be decorated to look like the main character. (Be creative!) The front must also include the title and author of the book (anywhere). The back of the snowman character will be the book report and must have the following...

Circle 1: The Head-write what happened at the begining of the story.

Circle 2: The Middle-write what happened in the middle of the story.

Circle 3: The Bottom-write what happend at the end of the story.

This project is worth 2 reading grades. One grade is for completion BY THE STUDENT.  The second grade will be based on the oral presentation of the snowman.
