MUSICAL THEATRE UPDATES: 8 DAYS UNTIL SHOW TIME!!!!

PLEASE NOTE ALL AFTER SCHOOL REHEARSALS RUN FROM 3:00 - 4:15PM
FINAL REHEARSALS:
AFTER SCHOOL (3:00 - 4:15 pm) MAY 23 Wednesday: FULL CAST CALL: ACT 1 (all ensemble members will be free to go after we review scene 4. If you are part of the Ensemble that appears in the Lena Marelli show, you will be asked to stay. MAY 24 Thursday: FULL CAST CALL: ACT 2 All actors will be asked to stay until the rehearsal is finished. If we work efficiently, we should all be done by 4:15. (this means NO CHATTING!!!!) MAY 25 Friday: Final costume parade. Ensemble characters will try on their costumes once more and make any final adjustments in the Art room. While I work with them, Chorus Girls will review all choreo in the Drama Room, Boys will review all choreo in the Music room. Once the Ensemble is finished, I will call boys to confirm all their costumes, and finally review costume changes with the Chorus Girls. THIS MAY RUN LONG!!! MAY 27 SUNDAY: 10am - 12:30: Chorus Girls arrive by 10 for final run at any choreography problems. 1:00 - 4:00pm: All cast arrives for final rehearsal at Colquitz (this is our last chance to really tighten up any problem scenes or transitions) 4:00 - 5:00pm: Pack up of all props, costumes, sets for cartage to pick up first thing Monday morning. This must be efficient so that they can take as much of our stuff as possible.
MAY 28TH Monday: Final Enrichment to review songs. Most of the cast will be released at 3:00pm. Leads and stage crew travel to Spectrum for technical rehearsal. Technical rehearsal runs from 3:30 - 5:45. Pizza dinner will be provided to these students. 6:00pm - 10:00pm: Full cast arrives AT SPECTRUM for FULL DRESS REHEARSAL. Please come in hair and make-up as much as possible. Ensemble will need to run the Down and Out scene as well as the Lena Marelli scene before we begin running the show. Dress rehearsal of the actual show will begin as close to 7:30pm as possible. MAY 29TH TUESDAY: OPENING NIGHT!!!! ALL CAST MUST ARRIVE BY 6:00PM TO GET INTO HAIR AND MAKE UP AND WARM UP BEFORE THE SHOW. DOORS OPEN AT 7:00PM, SHOW STARTS AT 7:30PM. MAY 30 -JUNE 1ST: ALL CAST IS CALLED FOR 6:00PM.

RADIO COLQUITZ: THE SCHEDULE IS NOW POSTED OUTSIDE THE ART ROOM. Team #2 meets in the office at 8:35 after the first bell.

EXPLORATORY: Exploratory classes continue Tuesday. GREEN AND BLUE CONTINUE DRAMA THIS WEEK (MRS. SMITH AND MR. CORMIER'S CLASSES). ORANGE AND YELLOW PODS (MS. REINTJES AND MRS. KHOSLA'S CLASSES) CONTINUE DRAMA THIS WEEK.

GRADE 6 continues on MONDAY morning at 7:45am Choir for GRADE 7/8 meets Tuesday at 7:45am
JAZZ BAND: Senior Jazz Band meets on Friday at 7:45 Level 1 Jazz Band meets Wednesday morning at 7:45 and Friday at 1:00pm Concert Band meets Monday and Thursday at 7:45 and Friday at 1:45pm DANCE: Thank you for a fabulous season! we may review our pieces for year end assemblies, please stay tuned!
