Papers due May 27th by 12 noon.

Both must follow these guidelines: 12pt New Times Roman font, one page typed.  You may email the papers, but they must be emailed by the deadline.  Please ask for a response to confirm that I have received them

1.  Please honestly convey to me the grade you feel you deserve for Algebra 1 this year and why.  Include topics that you enjoyed, learned, and disliked.  Honestly critique my methods of teaching, grading, and helping (like math help, etc.).  Let me know your honest opinion so that I may improve upon things for next year.  You will not be graded upon your opinions, but according to the clarity of the presentation of ideas and opinions.

2.  Write about a mathematician in any area of mathematics who has the same first or last name as yourself.  Include when they were born and/or died, and what they proved, discovered, or wrote.  Also, write about what awards, degrees, or prizes that they received.  Please explain to the best of your ability in your own words what they discovered (try to summarize it).
