I'm amazed at how quickly September flashed by and now we are already in the middle of October! There is a music program on October 26th at 7:00 and the students are practicing for it.  We just finished our Constitution Inquiry Groups and the students did a great job on their presentations to the class.  We are moving into a study of the earth and are planning a trip to Jewel Cave in November after parent/teacher conferences on the 11th and 12th.  Think nice weather please!  The AR goal for the month of October are 5 points, due at the end of the month so please remind your child to be reading at home. One exciting thing happening is our Wiki project with a 3rd grade classroom in Colorado.  The third graders send us some writing to edit, we download it, edit it, and send it back via the internet!  The kids seem to be enjoying this and have done a great job of editing their pieces in a positive way.

Congratulations to our sixth graders who played junior high football.  They are now the district champs!  Alex, Jalen, Donnie, Tyler, and Matt all did a great job!  Chantal and Brooke ran for the cross country team and improved their individual times each week.  All of these kids were able to balance both school and sports and you can be proud of them.

A special thank you to Janeen Bissey for coming in on Fridays to work with us in math.
