Zoo trip--March 27th

Transportation Museum rescheduled for May 4th

We are working very hard on comprehension skills.  Here are some questions to ask your child as they read:

1.  What is the setting?

2.  Who are the characters?

3.  What is the problem?

4.  What is the solution?

5.  Does this book remind you of anything you've experienced?

6.  Does this book remind you of another book you've read?

7.  What was your favorite part? Why?

8.  What have you learned from this book?

Homework

Each night your child is to study spelling words and read.  Please write down what they read in the reading log and sign it.  Don't forget to put the date and the author's name.  Return it to school the next day.
