It is so hard to believe that the end of first quarter is just around the corner and to think that Christmas is in the air!  I am proud of the way all of the students have worked hard this quarter to adjust to third grade.  This grade is a big adjust for both students and parents but hang in there, we are off to a great start!

I am looking forward to meeting with all of you to discuss your child's progress so far in third grade.  Please refer to the note sent home about your date and time for the conference.  If there is a problem that you cannot make this time, please let me know as soon as possible.

We will not have a Halloween party but I am planning on sending a treat bag home for each student.  If you would like to send things for the treat bags, please do so before October 29.  It does not have to be candy but small items such as pencils, erasers, etc.. or apples, fruit bites, etc..  Thanks for your help!

Just a reminder to all parents - please look at your child's homework each night and sign the organizer.  Also, remember if your child is to go home a different way than what you signed on Open House, please send a note.  We must have some type of communication from the parent to change transportation home.

As always, thanks for everything you do for your child!  It is going to be a great, successful year!
