TIPS FOR READING FUN
1. Postcards-find a postcard pen pal 2. Labels-label bins in their room-puzzles, dolls,etc. 3. Artwork-add writing to their design 4. Messages-put your child in charge of taking messages What is Title I ? Title I is a federally funded program that strives to provide equal opportunity and educational help for all students to succeed in school. This program offers extra teachers and tutors, additional training for school staff, extra time for instruction, and a variety of teaching methods and materials. Enochville Elementary is a schoolwide program that can serve any of the students in the school. Every student is a Title I student in a schoolwide setting. Students are taught in small groups or left in the classroom settting where additional support is given. The staff consults with classroom teachers to determine areas in which each student can improve.
