Just a Few Reminders:

• Tuesday is Mass and Bishop Tobin will be celebrating with us. All students must wear their full dress uniform and have their sweaters!!! Everyone is invited to attend!!

• There is a dress down day on Friday. Please bring in $1.00 to donate to charity.

• Due to cold and allergies we are running low on disenfecting wipes. If you could donate some it would be extremely helpful.

• Many students do not have pencils or red pens. Please check with your child to see if they have the proper materials for class each day!

Students should have a good book at their desk to read when the finish an assignement. All third graders are required to read 25 books by the end of the year. Thank you!

Math- This week we will continue division. There will be a test on division facts 0-9 on Thursday.

Reading- This week we will continue reading, "James and the Giant Peach" by Roald Dahl. We will be working on various reading and writing skills throughout the week.There will be a  quiz on Tuesday on chapters 24-29.

Language Arts- This week we will be working on various writing tasks. We also will be working on combining sentences and reviewing nouns. 

SS- We will begin to discuss the presidents and government. All students should be working on their president projects at home. We will also be reading and discussing our local government.

Science- The first unit we will be discussing is water. This week we will begin to use our Science Kits and investigate properties of water. We will be discussing and investigating evaporation.

Religion-  We will be reading and discusssing Chapter 20, Lent. 

Spelling- There will be a spelling test this week.
