Dear Parents,

We do not have school on Wednesday of this week in observance of Veteran's Day.

We have a field trip planned for Tuesday, November 17th which will be held at St. Rocco School. We are studying about different indian tribes in Social Studies so this experience of learning about the Hopi Indians will add to it nicely.

We are continuing our Junior Achievement program with Mrs. Coleman, Paris' mom. We are very grateful to her for volunteering her time to do so in 1A. The class will learn about the role of families in the local economy/ community.

Please remind your child to use precautions to stay healthy: wash hands frequently with antibacterial soap/handcleaner, use a tissue or cough/sneeze into arm, stay home if there is a fever. I am wiping down the desks, doorknobs, etc.. in order to help to rid of germs. We have handcleaner available in the classroom for the children to use.
