Hello Parents,

Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year.

It\\\'s school time again! I am very elated to have your child in my class. I believe that by all of us working together we can make this a very successful year. I consider it of prime importance that you be an active part of your child\\\'s education.

You are invited to phone me or visit the school any time that you have a question concerning your child\\\'s progress, or if you want to join in any of the fun-filled engagng lessons. I will keep you informed by email, phone calls, and schoolnotes.com. It is important that you and your child are informed of my rituals and routines and expectations of classroom behavior. I have always found parents to be very supportive of positive classroom behavior so their child has a good environment for maximum learning. I hope that you will advise me if at any time your child has a problem, academically, socially, or emotionally. Should your child become discouraged or fearful about school, please communicate with me so that we can determine the cause of the problem.

There will be a quiz on classroom rules and consequences on Friday.

*We will begin to study The three features:Cultural, Political, and Physical. We are also discussing Conflict and Change,Cultural Goverance, and Human Environmental Interaction.

Social Studies Homework:

Tuesday: Review Notes

Wednesday: Review the 5 Themes of Geography (utilize song on TeacherTube)

Thursday: Review all notes-You will need the information for tomorrow’s project
