Parents and Students be guided that all Science classes will have their Unit 1 Test on friday, Sept. 7, 2012.
This has been announced since the first week of school.
As per the Science class rubric, I will have Sept. 6, Thursday time to review the class for the next day test.
The Coverage of their Test will be Journal entry dated August 21 to Sept 5.
Be guided as well that Any missing Class works, Quiz or Home works that your daughter or sons missed and asked to do due to absences or tardiness, is needed for completion within this week, till friday and their appropriate parent written excuse or doctors excuses must be turned in to the office before me accepting their works or giving them their Quiz.
Chemistry class should had been familiarizing themselves this week with element # 11 - 15 of the Periodic Table.
Biology Class should be familiarizing themselves with the common Elements of the Periodic table.
Informal progress report for All Science classes for the past 2 weeks were given to your child last friday, Aug 31.

Week of 8/27 to 8/31
1. Be reminded to bring the following in class starting Wednesday: Folder with pockets,color pencil,graphing paper,ruler, calculator.
2. Long Test as reminded since last week will be on Sept 7, 2012
3. At this point, ever child should have their journals in their science class that they are using and I am checking every day. If not,their classworks will not be checked and recorded.
4. Graded Q1 and Homeworks.
Week 1 went home Monday. Please see and check.
5. Home works re due friday. Deductiion is applied if submitted late at whatever reason.
6. Excuse letters should be submitted to the office for me to recognize and give make up works if your child is absent in my class.

1. What is an ATOM?
2.Identify the different sub atomic particles and differentiate one from the other.
3. What is Matter?
4. Give the model chart that identifies the different classification of matter.
5. Identify and differentiate based on volume, molecular arrangement, and shape the different phases of matter.

2. Cite at least 5 rules/conditions to follow in a laboratory set-up.
3. What is a Microscope? Identify the parts and give its function.
4. What is SI unit of Measure? Give the 6 different Quantities and Base units.
Please use any SCience Books for reference with current edition and/Or research thruh the web in exclusion of wikepedia.
Homeworks can be handwritten or computerized and printed using word document.
