Briefly, we will be having a homework "assessment" on Monday the 21st then you guys will be going off to induce yourselves with a tryptophanic coma. When you return, be brght and shiny for we will have a few days to review the Perodic table (and all that entails) in preparation for a test that week following Thanksgiving.
This week 11.14.11-11.18.11 will be Cell Division reveiw and more Heridity.
11.21.11 we will have a quiz on Cell Division and Mitosis then you can slip into a tryptophanic coma on Thanksgiving but come back rested and ready to get going on more Genetics, Heredity and inheritance for the week of 11.28.11.
The following week (12.05.11-12.09.11) we will have a test over Chapter Three.
Much of this week will be devoted to reveiwing Cell Division and Mitosis. So much of Biology and where we want this class to go is dependent heavily upon the understanding of this material. There will be a quiz on Monday the 21st over this very important topic. I have given the option to those who made a 90 or better on the last quiz to not take this next one. That being said; mastery of this material is paramount, your understanding of it is necessary for your future performance and this quiz will only help to bring your overall quiz grade up, ie. it can not hurt your grade to take this quiz nor to reveiw this material.
Due to limitations of this site, I am making copies of the Mitosis power point presentation. Make sure you get a copy! Use it, study it, know it.
If you have any questions, ask me immediately or send me an email and I will get back to you either right then or during class.
