Hello Parents!
I cannot add a page this week due to technical difficulties so I am posting here. For the week of October 22nd, here is a glimpse of what we will be studying:
Monday October 22nd: I will be assigning our performance task based on the Israel/Palestine conflict. Students will either complete a letter to President Obama or a political cartoon. This assignment will be due Wednesday October 24th
Tuesday-Friday: We will be studying the three main economic systems: Traditional, Command, and Market. Please make sure your students study their notes because there will be a quiz on Friday. In addition, I will be challenging your child this week and expect them to think critically and apply each economic system to particular situations. Encourage them to not get frustrated if they find the material challenging at first. However, we will have some fun too! I have two interactive games that will allow each student to showcase their knowledge in front of the class. My students enjoy working on the Smartboard and they will have the opportunity this week. Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions!
