Students make sure you are following the modules in Canvas, which tells you which assignment to do each day according to the lesson plan. The assignments will be uploaded each day so make sure you are checking to see what you are assigned through Canvas under modules each day. Hello Parents and Students!!
We have a week full of learning ahead of us!! Remember that before school tutoring is available everyday starting at 7AM. After school tutoring is also available each day of the week. Sign up with the teacher in the content area you need help with. I will be there till 5PM on Tuesday for extra help!
Don't forget about Saturday School! There are 3 more Saturdays left to attend. GMAS is right around the corner, lets take every available opportunity for HIGH ACHIEVEMENT!!
This week's standards are:
ELAGSE7RI2: Determine two or more central ideas in a text and analyze their development over the course of the text; provide an objective summary of the text.
ELAGSE7RI4: Determine the meaning of words and phrases as they are used in a text, including figurative, connotative, and technical meanings; analyze the impact of a specific word choice on meaning and tone.
ELAGSE7W1: Write arguments to support claims with clear reasons and relevant evidence.

how the author acknowledges and responds to conflicting evidence or
viewpoints.
7th grade- ELAGSE7RL2: Determine a theme and/or central idea of a text and analyze its development over the course of the text; provide an objective summary of the text.
ELAGSE7RL3: Analyze how particular elements of a story or drama interact (e.g., how settings shape the characters or plot).
