Science: We will continue to work on the review stations Monday and Tuesday with a unit test on Wednesday. Our new unit, Interdependence of Life, will begin on Thursday.
Math: Circumference & Area of a circle
Compacted Math: Describing Functions
Math: we will continue our geometry unit by reviewing cross sections and angle relationships. We will then move on towards area and circumference of circles.
Compacted Math: This week we will review writing linear equations from tables and graphs
Math: finishing our unit on Ratios and Proportions. We are reviewing how to find the rate of change and determining whether ratios are proportional by looking at tables and graphs. We are also learning how to write equations for proportional relationships. The unit test will be administered next Friday, February 1. Homework will be given at least 2 times this week.
Compacted Math: this week we are learning about functions.
Science: This week will be spent reviewing our Genetics Unit and conclude with a unit assessment on Friday. Family Tree projects are also due this Friday.
In both 7th grade math and Compacted Math we will be steadily reviewing for the Pre GMAS assessment being administered on Thursday. Each student has been given review materials that we are also working on in class.
Science- We will be beginning our unit on Genetics/Heredity.
Good Morning!
Math: This week we are reviewing unit rates and observing proportional relationships via tables and graphs.
Compacted Math: We are going back to exponents, scientific/standard notation with a quiz on Wednesday. Thursday & Friday we will review solving multi step equations that was previously covered last year.
Science: Our unit on Body Systems will continue. Students have been notified of a unit assessment on Wednesday, December 19.
