This week in advanced/compacted math we will work more on solving equations.  This includes 1-, 2- and multi-step.  Afterwards we will move on to inequalities, which is the last concept for this unit.

There will be homework each day tis week (Tuesday-Friday).

We have been continuously working on reviewing unit one concepts (rational numbers) and we are almost complete with the review.  Once that is done, students will be retaking the quiz for a couple of weeks ago.

Please allow me a couple of more days to complete grading of the homework corrections.  These papers will be returned to students as soon as they are complete.

If you have any questions/concerns, pelase let me know.

Homework packets go home on Monday and are due on Friday.

If there are any questions/comments/conerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

This week in math we will begin to delve into Unit 1- Rational Numbers.  This unit focuses mainly on integer operations which is the foundation for 7th grade mathematics.  This week our focus is adding integers with the same sign (positive + positive & negative + negative) and also those with different signs (negative + positive & positive + negative).  Please encourage studying and extra practice as needed online at home (IXL, YouTube, etc.).

Weekly homework packets will go home on Monday and are due back on Friday.

If you have questions and/or concerns, please let me know.  Let's have a great week!
