Hey Fort Family,
I hope everyone had a great summer, I am super excited to be starting my third year teaching. I am ready to impact your children in the most positive way possible and boost their self esteem. In Physical Education we are requiring all students to buy a locker to secure their valuables, which will cost five dollars total. We are also offering uniforms for P.E., which are $20 dollars total. All students are required to dress in athletic clothing and sneakers. Our first activities in class will consist of the Fitnessgram pre-test. Then we will move into our Volleyball and Flag Football units. I am looking forward to a great year and I hope to hear from you all if you have any questions.

Hello Parents,
I hope everyone has had a great weekend. In Physical Education we are still on the Volleyball Unit and this week we will be working on the serving skill. It is also very important that the students bring in a notebook for Physical Education. I have been giving students zeroes for failing to bring the notebooks to class. I do not want to fail a child for failure to bring a notebook, but I have given them five weeks to bring one in and at this point their grade is truly earned. I would also like to give a big shout out to my classes for dressing out everyday in Physical Education.

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend. In class, we have lockers available to be bought for $5.00. The lockers ensure security for your children's items while they are in the gym learning. We are in week 2 of our volleyball lesson, where the students are learning how to bump pass the ball. Students are expected to dress out everyday and fully participate in class. The students have been put on notice that their grades will be affected by participation, effort, attitude, and dressing out.

The first 2 weeks have been very eventful. The students have really bought into the classroom procedures and polices, which is a great start at "The Best Middle School in the World." We are now finishing up our Fitnessgram in P.E so all students are expected to dress out. We will be starting on our volleyball lesson next. We have also started selling lockers for $5.00, which will be important for your children to secure their items.

I am excited to get the school year started and it looks like the kids are just as excited. For the first two weeks of school I will be demonstrating the appropriate classroom behavior.
