**  Example for The Cay

A new title for this novel would be Phillip and Timothy at Sea.  The first reason this is a good title is because Timothy and Phillip are the main characters in the story.  Actually, there were other characters in the first two chapters, however, they are the only two characters that are currenctly in my novel.  These are the two characters that are traveling on a raft right now after the ship they were sailing on had been attacked.  Another reason that this is  agood title is because these two characters only have each other.  Because they really haven't done much but talk and float on the raft since the big ship sank, them being at sea is perfect.  Also, Timothy and Phillip are trying to survive on the raft without getting eaten by sharks.  Another reason this title is good is because they only have each other to rely on.  In the last chapter, Phillip lost his eye sight.  Now, Phillip has to trust Timothy, yet Phillip does not like Timothy.  Phillip is accusing Timothy of being selfish and keeping all the water for himself, allowing Phillip to only have a little bit.  Because of these main reasons, Phillip and Timothy at Sea would be an excellent title for this story.
