This log is a letter.  Please make sure your log looks and reads like a letter. The following is an example:

Dear Mr. / Mrs. (married female)/ Ms. (not married female) (enter last name of author),

I am writing a letter about your book _____________ (title of book).  I wanted to tell you my opinion.  I really liked ____________________ (explain characters or scenes you liked about the book.  Use 3-4 sentences to tell what specifically made you like the book.)  There were only a few things I did not like about the book.  One thing was when _______________ (and describe one thing you didn't like.  Be gentle and specific about what you didn't like.  Maybe even make a suggestion about what might have been a better idea (in your own humble opinion).  Overall, I really enjoyed your book.  I can't wait to read another book you have written.  Thanks so much.
