Welcome Student and parents to Fort Service Learning Magnet Academy!
I am very excited to teach your son or daughter Earth Science on team 6-2!
This year will be filled with fun learning experiences for your child that will increase their knowledge and interest in Earth Science.
This week we will learn what it means to be a curious, honest, skeptical and open scientist.
Monday: students will learn the policies and procedures of the classroom.
Tuesday: students will continue to learn about the policies and procedures of the classroom and complete a "Missing Astronaut" activity.
Wednesday: Students will take an open notes quiz on the policies and procedures of the classroom and will complete a "getting to know you" activity.
I WILL GIVE THE STUDENTS A COPY OF THE SYLLABUS TODAY, THAT THEY WILL BRING HOME AND RETURNED SIGNED WITH PARENT CONTACT INFORMATION.
Thursday: Students will complete their first lab to introduce them to policies and procedures during lab activities.
Friday: Students will take a pre-test to understand what they already know about Earth Science.
