Please go to files and click on the test taking strategies files. Once the file is open sit down and read the PowerPoint with your child. These strategies will help your child while taking the CRCT.

Complete an hour each day of IXL.com.  The student should use their GTID number@mcsd  as their user ID and initpass as the password. The students should work on the Math and ELA concepts. The should alternate days for Math and ELA. Here are some other concepts the students should work on:

adding and subtracting fractions

dividing and multiplying fractions

multiplying and dividing 2-3 digits numbers (as well as multiplication facts)

***Geometry (Area, Volume, and Surface Area) 

 

ELA assignments

 

parts of speech

 

subject verb agreement

 

pronouns

 

adjectives

 

Adverbs
