On account of students misreading directions and/or not completing the majority of work in class, the project date has been extended to the end of class Friday. Please note, this will push the Unit 3 Test date to Thursday 4/3.
Attention: students have completed Quiz 3 and their tests are coming up.
7th grade test - FRIDAY 3/28
Accelerated 7th test - WEDNESDAY 4/2
Projects are also occurring and upcoming.
7th grade - begin project next week (after the test)
Accelerated 7th - projects due Friday
Accelerated math students will complete a translation worksheet # 1- 12 (evens) on a coordnate plane. Remember, translation means to slide. The figure drawn should be congruent to the pre-image. Examplr: rules should be written in the form (x, y) --> (x + 2, y -3)
7th grade math students will complete a surface area of prisms worksheet p. 85 letters A - F. Students should calculate the area of all the faces, then add them together. To make this easier, look for congruent faces to do less calculations. For example, there are 2 bases of the exact same size and shape. Calculate one, then multiply by two instead of solving 2 calculations.

Accelerated Math- Raccoon Reflection. Reflect the pre-image of the raccoon across the y axis (line of symmetry) to complete the picture of the raccoon.
7th grade - study for Quiz tomorrow using the review sheets completed/worked on in class.
