Weekly News letter
I want to take the time to welcome everyone back from Spring break. This week the students will be working on writing their full name. The unit we will be continuing is recycling. The students are learning about the many things that can be recycled. They are also learning how you can use things that are recycled to make other things. Some examples are making caterpillars from egg cartons, octopus’s from water bottles and many more great activities.
This week we are reading the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This book will help the students build on their prior knowledge of the days of the week, how a caterpillar changes into a butterfly and counting.
