I have posted our final word lists for Spelling/Word Work this school year in the files/downloads section of this School Notes page. Please find your student’s initials below to check which set of words they are assigned to.
Consonant Digraphs + R-Blends and squ Sort (#38): SB, SF, IM
Unaccented Final Syllables /chur/, /zhur/, /yur/ Sort (#33): JT, SK, DR, AJ, EB, KY
Vowel Alternation: Long, Short, and Schwa (#22): KM, BG, KR, AH, CC, AG, GV, AO
Latin Roots jud, leg, mod, biblio Sort (#42): JD, CF, AA, JL, KP, LH
Please note that the Spelling Test will be on Friday, June 8th.
Update: I jumped the gun and posted "tomorrow" a day too early. Author's Day is this Friday.
YOU'RE INVITED!!! BHES will be hosting an Author's Day to celebrate all of the excellent writing that students have been working on throughout the school year. Come out to hear your child read their writing and share in the celebration. Our class's celebration will be from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

This is just to let you know that permission slips went home today for the third grade field trip to the Baltimore Museum of Industry. Our class will be going on Tuesday, June 5th. Students will need to bring a bag lunch as well will be a way from the school building for most of the day. The fee for the trip is $26 per a student. Our class is also looking for a chaperone to accompany us on the trip.

Thank you to everyone that has helped out both in the classroom and at Bradley Hills this school year. I show our appreciation the staff would like to invite to the BHES Volunteer Luncheon on May 30, 2018 from 11:30 – 1:00 p.m. in the Media Center
