I have not received a lot of the assignment from yesterday so I am waiting for that.  Please practice your vocabulary and mini prof and asking voyageur questions.

Bonjour!  I would like you to practice your verb porter - to wear.  In case you don't have at home I will write here.

Je porte            nous portons

tu portes           vous portez

il/elle porte         ils/elles portent

I have underlined the different endings for the pronouns.  It is important that these endings are memorized so you can conjugate other verbs.  We did jouer in the past unit.  We will be doing acheter this unit as well.  Take the root of acheter (achet) and add the same endings for the pronouns.  ex. j' achete.  (because acheter starts with a vowel we take the e off of je and replace it with an apostrophe).  Practice these endings and write out the conjugations for acheter like I did for porter and hand that in to me (word doc or picture is fine). Due today. The past assignment people were confused with the conjugation.  If I am asking you Do you wear pants, you would answer yes i wear pants.  the conjugation changes for you to i.  Est ce que tu portes un pantalon?  Oui je porte un pantalon.  Make sure you change your conjugations to match the pronoun!  Please let me know if you need any help.

Bonjour!  Keep practicing your sentences with your game and mini prof.  Also review the partitifs I had given you.  de + le = du, de + la = de la, de + les = des.  If you have an unquantifiable amount (some milk, some cheese, some popcorn) check if it is feminine or masquline.  ex .  le lait = du lait, les pates = des pates.  Practice saying these sentences.  I will give an assignment based on this tomorrow.  let me know if you need any help with this.

Hope everyone was able to have a blessed palm sunday.  It is unfortunate that we were unable to receive palms.  We will do daily bible verse 3 times a week.  Here is the link for the first one.

April 6 daily bible verse

You can send a picture or put the answers in a word doc.

Research a country and how they celebrate Palm sunday.  In the files is the sheet.  If you cant print it out you may just use a blank sheet of paper.  Create a web page on how that country celebrates. Include a picture, and a caption. Shouldn't be more than 2 or 3 sentences long. Ex.  Japan celebrates palm sunday by reenacting the journey from Jerusalem.  Your caption should reflect your picture.

Hope you had a blessed Palm Sunday yesterday.  It is unfortunate that we were unable to receive palms.  I have attached the link for Saint of the day.  We will be doing 3 saint of the days per week.  Please hand in the questions to me.  A picture or word doc is fine.  Today's saint is St. Crescentia.  Here are your questions:

1. What name did the town call her?

2. Why was her life made miserable when she joined the convent?

3. When did she die?

4. When is her liturgical feast day?

St. Crescentia

Please see the file on Palm sunday to work on as well.  Send as word doc or picture.
