Make sure you know what drive your flash drive is in. 5- You can save to a portable hard drive. When you 'Save As' go to 'My Computer'. You might see 'Local Disk'. Make sure you know what drive your portable hard drive is in. 6-You can email yourself. You will need to save the file first-wherever you can remember it. Then open your email. Send it to yourself as an attachment. This is a great method because 1) you can work on the file in another location, as long as you can open your email, 2) you have a copy of the file in case you forget your flash drive or your portable hard drive, and 3) if it is a homework assignment, you can email it to yourself & your teacher.
