Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope that you all had a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend. We are continuing our study of the Civil Rights movement and how it impacted people in Georgia this week. On Friday, many of our students will go to see Hidden Figures, a movie that deals with race and gender discrimination in the 1960s. This will be an excellent opportunity for our students to see how what they're learning in the classroom impacted everyday people, and ultimately, our nation's history.
We will have a notebook check quiz on Friday and students will submit their Civil Rights Timeline projects on Friday as well.
