So class, we've entered into the world of genetics and heredity. I know that this is going to be a challenge but rest assured, everyone will understand it before we go on. Because this stuff is like nothing you have ever seen before, I'm going to be asking you to review, review and review.  As we go over a topic or read pages or take notes in class, review them at home even if it is a few minutes.  

Be sure to do your terms. There are a lot of new terms in lesson 3.1 and I will expect you to know them and to use them.

Please don't begin the Genetics Practice problem sheet that I passed out in class today until you have a good understanding of this first lesson. Do look over it and find terms that you don't understand yet and look up those terms but resist the urge to rush ahead before you are ready.
