It occurs to me that vacation is just about over! I have that nervous, fluttery feeling in my stomach, and I can't tell if it is anxiety or excitement. Mayber a bit of both? It's been many years since I first came to Auburn to teach sixth grade at EVCain. Since then, my journey has led me to Rock Creek and then to Auburn Elementary. I have taught in this district for 22 years now and have worked with many principals--six, if I care to count! I've taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grades but have always loved the curriculum in sixth grade the most. I feel that I've come full circle and back home to rest at EVCain with the sixth grade. I'm looking forward to learning as much as my students this year! Here's to a great year!
