Your child's homework packet consists f a lt of practice work for them. Please make sure to turn in their packet every week. It's very important that your child is consistently doing/turning in their reading journal entries as well. Please remember that they need to have 90% of their homework turned in, in order to be eligible for the end of the year field trip. 

I highly encourage reading nightly with your child. Help them to become familiar with the different parts of a book. We really want to focus on making readig enjoyable for the kiddos!
