Homework Assignments
October 3-24, 2012
Reading: Read every night for 15 mins. Do 2(two) reading journal entries. Due to Fall Break you must turn in 6 (six) journal entries by Oct. 24. Make flashcards for new memory words.
Memory Words: do have show how me a look your the was are for story blow candle bubble
Math: Do assignments on Single-digit Subtraction and Place Value. Write numbers 1-120 once a week. (3 total)
Writing: Do assignments on Asking Sentences, ABC order, and Synonyms. Also, write a telling and asking sentence for each of your memory words and write a story one page long using new and old memory words. Be detailed and creative. :) Choose one of your favorite books and on a piece of paper write the words that have one of the following consonant blends or digraphs: sh, ch, tch, wh, th, ng, le. Then write them in alphabetical order. (abc order) If the words begin with the same letter, then look at the second letter and so on.
