Homework Assignments
November 7-14, 2012
Reading: Read every night for 20 mins. Do two reading journals per week. Make flashcards for new memory words. Practice reading memory words every night as part of your daily reading. (All words). Do reading comprehension assignments.
Math: Do math assignments on double-digit subtraction and addition. Turn in on a daily basis, Greater than and less than.
Writing: Write a sentence for each new memory word. Write them in ABC order. Add "ed" and then "ing" to the base word to make two new words.
Example: base word add "ed" add "ing"
ask asked asking
Then write a sentence for the new words you made up.
Memory Words: ask help fill help jump pick scratch smell thank wish yell *there *from * be *to *we *or
P.S. Parents please make sure your child is not bringing toys to school. They will be taken away and not given back to the last day of school, June 7th, 2013. Also, let me know if you are the parent that would like to donate the turkey for our class. Thank you, Mrs. Chavez
