Homework Assignments
May 1-8, 2013
Reading: Read every night for 20 mins. Include your memory words and Dolch words as part of your daily reading. I have started to test students on the Dolch Word List. I will then continue with Memory Word List (attached with homework Packet)
Memory Words: corn horn born bar jar star dirt shirt skirt short turn burn burnt far form card farm for cord torn stir fur dark start hard sport
Writing Write a sentence for each memory word. Circle the nouns underline the verbs and put a box around each adjective that you identify on the sentences that you wrote.
Math: Do math assignments on Fractions and Time.
Nouns: person, place or thing.
Verb: action word or doing word.
Adjective: a describing word
